So I have heard that my school gives out XP for free (Doh! I Bought my copy).
How do you check if it will later give out Vista for free?
I actually figure that I have given out quite a bit of money to MS and so would like to keep some of possible.

That would be massive for me as well. My clients include several large government agencies which send everything as scanned versions of printed documents. I end up having to retype tons of that stuff so I can enter it into Word so built in OCR would be a killer feature for me.Originally posted by Solver

Oerdin, why not buy standalone OCR? ABBYY Scan To Office is a "Lite" version of their FineReader. USA localization costs 50$ (cheaper for other regions).
