First to Classical Age

I started this thread simply because I had the unusual luck to reach Classical Age inb 3360 BC the other day and wondered if anyone else had seen this (or earlier)

It was freakish since I was playing on something like Prince or Noble level so research was very easy. But the thing that did it was my initial choice of Bronzeworking followed by a local village offering my roving warrior the secrets of working Iron!!

I don't know about you but this has "early swords rush" written all over it.

I got animal husbandry then horsebacking riding out of my first 2 huts in an mp game the other day. Dont know what year but it was pretty damn early

I once got Bronze then iron from two huts on the same turn. I don't remember how early but that one was freakish.

Too bad it was my first attempt at Monarch and I got kicked badly by monty before I could get my praetorians built in any numbers.

playtesting the SPDG with city first start ALWAYS got them Bronzeworking from the goody hut pop... too bad they popped it with a scout... oh well, still dominationizing
