R we all on broadband? we could start out as a regular multiplayer game and could then even do marathon if preferred and if we could all get together. this would give us a head start. whaddaya say? If not i'll just start and send the turn out when i come home in a couple of hours.

That sounds interesting but can you switch back and forth between PBEM and multiplayer?

u can start in multiplayer and switch to pbem. i don't think u can go back to multiplayer though. Maybe with the first untouched save in a turn. don't know. but if we could get the first 50 turns done simultaneously in multiplayer when we're just b hitting end turn anyway...
