        No, we're not using PitBoss. In order to use it someone would have to run it in his computer all the time, for the entire duration of the game.

        However I vote for a grace period of 48 hours during each player should play his turn.

              I wasn't aware either until I read about it

              BTW, by creating an account in GameSpy (can be done within the game) you gain the ability to automatically send turns from within Civ4 and join the respective civgroup, if that's of any interest to you

                You would also need 2 separate computers if you are to both host a game and participate in it.

                  I don't think that's necessary. 1 computer can do the job as long as it's always running and online.
