No one is buying this, Agathon. UR was not the victim, he was the aggressor. He repeatedly closed threads he didn't like, for no other reason than that. People start getting sick of it and demand action, and you turn around and blame the people he abused his power on for this.
UR retired because he probably realized how bad a mod he was, or the administration asked him to step down. You just know MarkG doesn't have the balls to come out and admit I was right when I protested his original appointment.

I think I speak behalf on most people here who aren't buying his excuse that this has nothing to do with UR being a terrible mod, and his tyranical actions against me are the principle causes of this. It happened just days after the latest fiasco.
By the way, my usage is included under the term "pluralis modestiae". It is to be distinguished from Pluralis Majestatis...

To add to the coincidence, a day before this happened I sent a lengthy PM to DanQ criticizing UR's actions and MarkG's inaction to correct it.
A day later this thread pops up, and DanQ replies to my PM with a link to this saying "Regarding the UR issue: ". Unrelated? Don't patronize me. Grow a pair.

Mostly because they were so noticeabll preoccupied with other things that it was only a matter of time before they announced their retirement. Then, of course, is the fact that they announced it themselves with reasons. UR's retirement was sudden, had to be announced by Markos, almost as if it was against his will, and given no explanation at all. It's only reasonable to have some suspicions in these circumstances.
Anyway, where is this new mod? If we don't get one soon, I'm going to boycott posting.
