Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

I take the train to work so I don't want to hear about being a gas hog.
I've had it 11 years and have less than 80,000 miles on it. Mostly a few long trips.
And it's a mini SUV so I don't want to hear about it being a monster on the road.
I would guess that about 15% of those miles were driven in 4 wheel drive due to snow or offroad use.
Four wheel drive has saved me from at least a handfull of accidents. Knock on wood.

the car I own is a 1999 Toyota Camry... V6, leather, 76k miles, sunroof, 6 disc changer, etc...
I also drive the other cars my family has, though... 2005 Toyota Highlander Limited... hybrid... it's nice, heated seats, navigation, all that stuff... and then my sister's car, which is currently at our house (she lives in the city, Chicago) a 2004 Toyota Prius... it doesn't have leather or navigation, but it still has a 6 disc changer and climate control...
I want to keep my car until it dies, but my parents are obsessed with getting hybrids because we get tax rebates from the state. So next year we might sell my car and get one of the new Camry hybrids.
I dunno how that is going to work because I paid for my car, but obviously I can't afford to get a new car. We'll see. My mom just got promoted, and we might sell our house soon. So things are kind of in limbo right now.
My sister graduates from grad school in the summer, and is going to come home and live with us for a while, while she works as a student teacher or something...
And then I'm still working with my doc on my depression stuff. I'm in a study doing qEEG scans and stuff. Making some progress, but it's slow and frustrating.
There are lots of things going on that are going to factor into whether or not we buy another car. When my sister leaves again and/or gets married next year (she's engaged now), she'll take her car, so it will be the Highlander and my car. My mom uses the Highlander and my dad and I use my car.
So if my car needs to by sold, I think the money will just probably go to me, and then we'll buy the new hybrid Camry.
Toyotas have been good for us. We have a good relationship with a local dealer, plus the rebates, so I think that's what will end up happening.

My explorer gets decent milage but I use the car to drive to work and back while my wife drives the explorer to her much closer job. She is wanting a truck but with gas the way it is, I would want to keep the car. I hated the big trucks until I got my explorer. Damn smooth ride and people don't push me around on the interestate

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
