  • Taking enemy planets questions.

When you capture the enemy planets that have their economic, technological, or manufacturing capital does that planet maintain its bonus's for you?

Does capturing said planets reset *that* planet as your new economic, technological or manufacturing capital?
..there are known ‘knowns’ There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. ~~Donald Rumsfeld

Capturing any capital planet from an enemy effectivly gives you a second capital. It continues to give its bonuses to that planet, and your original capital continues to function as well.

Because of this it's useful to note where enemies build their capitals, and when minors do (if you plan to take them over).

Note that if you capture a particular type of capital before building your own, you lose the opportunity to build your own.
