SimCity 4 was a big disappointment for me. Some good ideas, but still way too much of an empty shell that requires tons of modded files to get what you want and too much micromanagement. SC3000 was better.

Ah yes, it was one of Markos' experiments. He wanted to see if it could be practical to link games with Amazon, in order to add ad-income. SC3000 was his test. The idea was scrapped, apparently, but the Amazon Link for SC3000 remains as a testimony

Is that the same SC3000 as the SC3000 I was thinking of purchasing at www.amazon.com? Or a different SC3000? There seem to be so many SC3000s around these days.
