The Jonta Tribe

Many many years ago, the Tamikolian tribe was wondering the land.
Without any culture they were raping their women and kiling their fellow man.
But one day a woman named Juda, had a son, a very clever one. His name was Jonta
And he grew to become a Wise man, at the age off 26 he han allready developed a new spiritual belive BigCrisis, based on the belive that the world would be wonderfull for 4000 years. Within the next years of his life. This man also discovered the fishing net.
And learned how to grov the wild corns, planting small fields to feed his people
One night he had a dream, that he should guide his people. The next morning he killed the old leader. Took the name of Prince (level) Jonta.
Founding a small city
This Year he called 4000 BC, 4000 years before the BigCrisis.
He soon found a spot, for the people to settle down.
They now called themself the Jonta tribe

One day a when The Prince was walking in a nearby wood he came upon a wonderfull yellow shining stone, he called the stone GOLD

The warriors of the Jonta tribe, was great hunters, they killed a lot of
wild animals, getting great skills of fighting.
The people of the mountains called these warriors Jonta Woodsmen.

The Jonta Tribe belived that there town was the center of the world
But as time went by they heard from the people living in the mountains
That out there, fra away from Jonta town lived many tribes of babarians.
And far far away lived a great People, there leaders was old women, and they
Called them Isabellas.
One day the Jonta Tribe held a ritual, burning a few virgins and showing off
There stones that they called Gold, to the men of the mountains.
That day came to Jonta Hut, a group of these Isabellas, they soon came to like each other.
The two tribes now held rituals together 1 time every year.
To be prepeared for the evil babarians the Jonta tribe started to build beautiful and
Strong bows. And many of there warriors now carried these bows.

Still blinded from the beautifull stones. A group of the Jonta tribe now went of to
Build some huts near the hills with the Gold stones.

The strong men of Jonta Tribe collect big stones in the surrounding land, and makes a ring of them, at the Holy place where they prey to their great ansestor
The Jonta Prince, and listen to the tale of the BigCrisis to be in only 1130 Years.

The old men of Visdom have fornd a way to melt a black stone that they call Iron
And soon the Jonta tribe builds a small town, some hundred kilometers to the South-East
of jonta Hut, they call the town Muddi Huts.

The Jonta Tribe has for a long time been fighting the Evil wild tribes, hunting around there lands.
Lots of warriors with bows and arrows protect both the 3 towns of the Jonta tribe, and the people
Working at the farms and mines of the Jonta tribe.
Now also warriors with great Iron war-axe with beautifull woodden shafts, and Iron helmets
with small gold craniums at the noseplate. Starts to fight the �gblack�h tribes.
And one day a groupe of Jonta Axemen finds a �gblack�h town.
The old men of Jonta tribe call upon the Jonta Prince.
He shows the sign of war
They decide to go on the attack

The Black Wars will last for hundreds of years

32 years BC during at babarian wars, with its many losses of great young men. a princess
is born in Tamiko Hut, har name is Christiane.
Allready 16 years old she takes part in fightings against the �gBlack�h, beeing a master of the sword.
At the age of 21 she looses her father King IB of the Jontas, killed by the Blacks, when they
Re-entered the City of Yue-Chi that IB and his men had captured a few years before.
At the year of the Big Crisis, Christiane proclaimed, that there was and would not be
a Big Crisis, she was the doughter off The Holy Ib, and that the Jonta Tribe should Pray
only to his spirit.

When Christiane died 17 years later.
The Jonta tribe became Christians. Praying to Christiane and her father
Their symbol came to be the cross, that Christiane had raised, On top of the grave of King Ib,
in the new found Ib-city on the eastcoast of the Jonta Lands.
They called upon her , by the name : Dear Christiane
They now counted the years AD, After Dear Christiane

I really dig this. Any weaknesses in the writing style simply make it sound like a translation of a foreign narrative, which makes sense for these alternate histories. I especially liked the alternate religion based on events that actually happened in the game as the explanation for founding Christianity. I'd like to see how this continues.

The year 380 AD,
In the province off Visigod. A warrior, a great swordsfighter
A brilliant leader, FinnFinn
He has got 6 women, he drinks and drinks hot wine with strange herbs, that makes his eyes red and
Dangerus, only a few of the other warriors dare to get near him, when his drunk.
One cold winter morning he calls together his men off war. He commands:
Let go and take the damn Black town. To end this years of War
They walk for hours in the tight woods. Then they see the gates af the black town.
FinnFinn take one big pot of wine, he looks around, into the faces og his fellow men.
Then he runs forward, and slaughters the Black archers.
Meanwhile his men enters the Black town, they kill every living soul, women and children.

After the year of 380 AD the people of Jonta Tribe lives in peace.
Women in silk. Men with gold hanging down their chest.
They build boats to visit far away coasts & they now build beautiful houses of granit.

The peace lasted for nearly 400 years. Then one day the people of Jonta tribe, noticed a great
fleet off warships, near the coast og IB-City.
They are attacked be the Isabellas.
The Jonta tribe was not prepared for this,
they expected every civilized Tribe to be peacefull.
So soon they had lost many young men, and the people in the villiges of Jonta Tribe, feared for their lives.
This war went on for 45 years. Then the Jonta King: Chris De Burg han to make a hard choice.
His oldest son was a beautiful young man, and he was send to the Old Isabellas Leaders.
To please them in many ways. This way the old King saved his people, by the sacrifice of his son.
The Jonta tribe was again in peace with the Isabellas.

The common man of the Jonta tribe, now hated the Issabellas.
They always refered to them as Hors, a word they used to call the Black women that sometimes came to their towns, sleeping with the men fore money.
The Isabellas knew how to control wild animals, they tamed them and used them in war.
The Jonta tribe called these amimals Horses.
The Military leaders of the Jonta Tribe, send spy’s to the Isabellas to learn how to train these animals, and The Jontas build a Town Dalbæk Town, near the wildlands where these Animals lived.
Soon the Jonta tribe enrolles Horsemen in their own army.

History of the Jonta Tribe AD 800-1050
( 2.nd War of the Black )

Military
It this period the Jonta Tribe was fighting the Black again, taking over their remaining
positions near the Jonta lands.
The leaders of the Jontans was Organis Monke, the Chif�fs of the tempels of Christine, training there
priests to be masters of the Longbow & Crossbow. And Military Leaders called Vasals, that controlled a vaste army of Horsemen with Bows & Catapults.
It seems they expected another war with the Issabellas.

Diplomatic
The Jontas was trading with many great nations, The greatest of them all was a people that called themself the Asokas. The Jontas called these Frindly people Hind, those that do not kill the Cow.
In the beginning The Jontas altso called another frindly people Hind. But fore some strange reason that the Jontas really did not understand, these people started killing and eating the Cow, and at the same time stopped eating the Pig, they called them Hatshep belivers of the Great profet from Jud.
The Jontas also traded with Saladin, the people of a half moon. But they were not always happy about that. The military leaders had a bad feeling about the Saladin people.

The fall of the Jonta Empire.
In the Year of 1144 AD, the Jontas once again was invaded by the Isabellas.
There fears warriors swept the East coast of the Jonta Empire
Killing hundreds of thousands of Jontas, took control of the city of Thracian.
And even more devastating, razed the Holy city of Ib.
The common Jonta, was terrified.
When working the fields or on their way to town they were suddenly attacked
by these evil horsemen, and slain to the ground.
Soon the leaders of the Jontas, had to make a final decision.
They accepted to become vassals of the Asoka Empire.
And the 1.st. Nation of the Jontas no longer played a role in history.

The Emigrants

Yet a group of young Jonta NOBELS from Tamiko Huts would not accept their faith.
They pulled their family together and went to sea. Travelling for month and months,
weak from the lack of food, they came to a unknown land.They called this new land Tamiko Land.
They walked throughout the great woods of Tamiko Land until they came to a beautiful river.
That�fs where they founded the town of New Jonta Huts
Impressed by their old friends the Asoka, they took with them the religion of Hind.

The Eastern Tamiko Lands
The first 5 centuries, of the history in the new Tamiko land, was a hard time fore the newcomers.
Constantly harassed by the natives, the 5 new city�fs of the Jontas, was ruled by to separate kings.
The 3 citys at the north part of Tamiko river: New Jonta Huts, River city and Ciku Inka,
were ruled by the Tamijo Family. Who were believers in the Asoko religion Hind.

The Western Tamiko Lands
The 2 city�fs to the south and west, Uni and New Muddi Huts.
Ruled by the Muddi Family. Who were believers in the primitive religion�fs of the Natives.
This because the commons of these cities often was natives, moving to the Jontas cities to work
At the Jontan mines, or become a part of the Jontan�fs Armies

The Union
King Fhu, 459-489 was born in New Muddi Huts in the year of 427 After Departure
As a young prince he found interest in the Hind religion, something that was not well seen in the west.
He also wrote books of the native religions.
And finally a book that melted the two believes together.
This new wisdom, In the court of King Fhu was refered to as Kingfhutism. The Court of the Tamijo Family called this new believe Confucianism.
The beautiful daughter off King Fhu, was to marry a native barbarian leader, but then war broke out with other native tribes. And king Fhu decided to try and make peace with the Easter Jonta�fs by marriage between his daughter and the prince of the Tamijo Family. Great happiness was amongst the Jontan people who were now united again. And from now on
Both religions was accepted in every city of the Jontas.
And the wedding was held in the greatest temple the Jontas had ever build, housing the monks of both religions.

The Kentkillers
In the centuries after the Union a new class came to more and more power in the Jonta Nation
The focus was upon the aspects of warfare. So the kings came to lean on the military leader, known as the Kentkillers.
The Kentkillers was originally responsible of training the farmers and workers in the knowledge of warfare. But as time went by the army became more and more depending upon professionals.
And the upkeep of the Army rapidly grew. Hereby the Kentkillers became interested in the
governing of the Jontas, to make more and more gold coming into the army.
The Kentkillers became rich. And the political power shifted away from the Rich Landowners of the Jonta court. The Kentkillers were the unofficial leaders of the contry. And this was not a bad thing, because they knew that to expand the empire. Gold had to be spend on Bowmen & Catapults and new weapons had to be invented. In the period from approximately 500-1000 After Departure, the empire grew by conquest.

The Monk
On a small farm, just outside New Muddi Huts, in a family of poor farmers, barely able to feed their two daughters, a child is born. He gets the name Janbjoern. Already as a child everyone in the nearby hamlets knows that this is a special boy.
At the age of 17, the young man left the farm and on bare feet, with only a small silver coin in his hand, a coin he was given by a horseman, coming home from the war in the north, the horseman told Janbjoern, he had seen the wonderful silver mines of the north.
JanBjoern wants to travel the world, But after 7 days alone on the great dessert road towards the town of Umi he meets a Holy Monk of the KingFhu temple, placed on a small hill, by the crossroad in the dessert. This holy Monk brings him to the temple. Impressed by the skills of the monks, he decides to stay. And it is in the 43 years, JanBjoern stays with the monks, he design the wonderful
New Kingfhu Tempel. At the age of 60, a very old man, and now the head of the Dessert temple of Confucianism, he brings his drawings to the governor of the western provinces, stationed in New Muddi Huts. The governor, a famous Kentkiller of the DuckZen family, I stunned by the drawings
and starts the building process right away. He wont regret this, the temple becomes the heart of
Confucianism, and soon brings fame and riches to the western provinces.

Jontana II
At the death of the weak King Jontana in 1191, the new King would become the only 8 year old
Prince Karmi, but that did not have any consequence for the land. Any power that the King might have had centuries ago, was now in the hand of the warrior class. The young king was taught by a Kentkiller, a very intelligent men by the name of Mansun. At the age of 29 the King was well educated in any aspect of governing and warfare, even though it was not to be of any use to him.
He was to be a Marionette in the hand of others.
But Mansun and King Karmi had other plans.
Karmi was to get married, with the daughter of Mansun. Every war leader, landowner or high priest
of the Jonta land was invited to New Jonta Huts. The feast was to last for 7 days, and everybody was enjoying them self, but on the eight day, the army of Mansun stormed the city, and killed everybody that Mansun & king Karmi could not trust.
The next day they proclaimed that there was a Emperor in the Jonta Empire. King Karmi took the name Emperor Jontana II.
The Land was now split in four provinces, but controlled by aone government.
The Emperors Land, with the central government in Jonta Huts, and the riches of the northern silver mines.
The Muddi Provence, with the famous KingFhu Temple, and the rich Vineyards of Vino Town, directly controlled by Mansun and his family.
The Ciku province in the hand of the Warlords of the Zensou family, old time friends of the Court,
now in control of the Emperors army, more than 26000 men.
The South Province in the hands of the Okane family, responsible of trade in and out of the harbours of the south coast.
