            When these ratings were introduced, one of the alleged advantages was that they were to be more "dynamic" and reflect "continuing development" in the games.

            The current results are an amazing 13 days more recent than the latest tournament scores. The next tournament scores will be out in a week.

              Well, just to post the official word on the ratings' status - this is from an ICQ chat with Solver:

              There was no update for CtP charts for months too. We have a change in personel doing the SMAC and CtP ratings, so that's why there were unwelcome delays. It's highly possible for updates to be regular in November again.

              I thought Markos would post a news item....
