  • Real World Scenario?

Is there a real-world scenario available, using a real world map, with the Civs in the proper starting location?

I know there used to be one for CivIII... just wondering if there is one for CivIV...

    Thanks...

I believe it's called "Earth". Search for it in your scenario folder. =)

I don't have anything of the sort.

What Enigma_Nova meant to say is that when you start CivIV, rather than hitting "Play Now!", go to "Play a Scenario" and then select "Earth." Good luck though, those scenarios tend to be rather large and my computer can barely (if at all) manage them.

That scenario only has 8 CIVs available... are they at least in the right location?

there is a 16-civ version of the map in the Apolyton directory - it is very slow, even on 3Ghz machines...

Certainly looks that way. Hatty starts on the Nile.

Ok... so, basically, you start with 8 civs, huge map... and it seems like the Americas would be unoccupied to start...

I suppose that's OK.. Thanks for the input.
