Install problem

Hi guys...

I was so excited when I got home and foind Civ IV waiting on the doormat for me... I rushed around, got all my chores done, made a cuppa and settled back to play.... Then it all went wrong!

Every time I try to install I get an error... It says "setXX.tmp has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". The XX part of the above seems to be different every time. I'm using the DVD version of the game if that matters...

Would anyone be able to help me fix this please? Thanks in advance if you can!

Forget my previous post please... I removed some cd burning software my girlfriend had on our pc and the game installed fine!

Played for an hour and a half then crashed... Still better than before though!
