PBEM for a non-Fanatic mediocre player

I am unsure if I am posting this to the correct area, but is a non-CIV fanatic interested in a PBEM game with a new guy?

At the next to lowest setting with me, you , and 2-3 civs. Nothing complicated.

Please, no super great guy, I am going to semi-suck and I just want to learn some stuff while playing a human.

Can I set it up? I want to learn how to use PBEM, so I was hoping you could help me out if I screw up the setup.

Does everyone use the "Quick setting?" It does not matter to me.

May I add if you folks still need another player, I am interested. Noobie to Civ4 and only played some of Civ1 and 2 a long time ago.

I think we need to appoint someone to set this one up if people listed here still interested? I count 6 including myself which should be nice to start?

*The known bug so far is the first player (set up person) can not tech trade

2) How do you set AI Civs? I thought they were frozen on Noble?

3) Also, I do not get the specialist? I know, wrong thread, but I just do not get it.
