Just a stupid guess, did you try redownloading the program?

Hell Yeah! Gotta say this was some great work done by all the participants. Chapeau!
Although I never had the renderer error, but ingame video failures this was an awesome show!
And don't worry ^^, I got time to get my bug fixed. I can live with that for a couple of weeks if I have to. This was enough work for you guys for one day. ;0)

McKeu, maybe you should also try this thing and see if it fixes the in-game videos. I'm curious.

for the people experiencing probloems with the utility for Win2000, are you running from the command line or using the stated instructions?
                  - What's that?
                  - It's a cannon fuse.
                  - What's it for?
                  - It's for my cannon.

Hell ^^ I DID try! Didn't fix it though. *doh*
Hey, but as I said, it's a minor bug, so it can wait. At least I can play.

That would be against copyright. You might try my alpha PAK utility. It should be able to unpack PAK files as well. It's not mush for the world, but it does what it does, but nothing else.

Edit: Short description of how this tool currently works:
Once you load it you will be asked to load a file. Select Art0.fpk in your civ directory. The tool will then load the filetree in memory. With v0.0.2 and later a progressbar will e shown during load.

Then select Art in the left field, and do Action\Extract
You will then be asked where to extract.

Lastly if you get a missing file error a setup file with vb runtimes is available here:

                      Edit2: Updated to v0.0.2 after 43 downloads.

I never run anything from the command line first, unless instructed, Soren.

It just doesn't seem to be a win2k compatible application.

I'm trying the alpha PAK tool right now, but it appears to just hang there. I'll give it another 5-10 minutes.
