        Sounds like it hates win2k.

        Nice try though
Interesting, sounds like it hated 2K indeed, but then again, the game does work on Win2K...

could someone post the unpacked files for those of use that have win2k? we aren't able to run the unpacking program.

It's not a repaired PAK. The point is, the program extracts files from the PAK.

Well, this did nothing for me
                Win XP radeon 9550
It gets to the Init Engine and then drops back to the desktop?! This is frustrating

THe thing is that the files really shouldn't have to be unpacked. For some reason that didn't work well with the release version on Radeon cards.

Actually, all kidding aside, I am impressed with how quickly what seems like a very major problem has been resolved. It's the first time that I've watched that in action - you can tell can't you.

                        Good going guys

FYI, I passed the info on to the CivFanatics IRC Chat room.

Hopefully someone who posts on their board will let everyone else know.

Well. I don't care if it's that big...if someone has a large outgoing pipe and can send it to me, send it to roboczar at gmail dot com .... otherwise i'll be sitting here staring at my screen....very sadly.
