Come on - cough up the reasons. I don't know why I'm so into this - I'm British so the game won't be available for a while, I'm not getting a copy til Chritmas anyway and my video card is NVidea.

I do not live in London, I live in South London. South London is different, a warm melting pot where everyone can become a bona fide South Londoner by virtue of two things. One: living in South London, and two: having no aspiration to live in the Cotswolds.

CustomAssets is a folder in the My Documents\My Games\Civilization path, you want the Program Files\Civilization path.

I'm running a ATI 9600 on a ViewSonic A70. Windows SP2 and I'm happy to say that this fix WORKS!

Solver, if you are ever in Austin TX I owe you dinner.

                Thanks!

Wow, how nice. We need a third party program to unpack a program file that should automatically happen during the install.

Well, regardless, it's quite shameful this has to be done.

Oh, well. At least it's working now.

                      Didn't work.

"The procedure entry point AttachConsole could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

                      Sounds like it hates win2k.

                      Nice try though
