      I hope you have it figured out by now

      if not

      on top right when you enter the world builder is a group of button and just run the cursor over them and one says "EXIT WORLD BUILDER" just save what you have done first

      as for the second part, not sure if you can tell if someone has used it or not

        Is that correct? Does that also enable the cheat code that lets you heal units with alt+[ ?

            Dale

            I been working and tweaking a very generic and crude scenario with me vs 8 Deity Level ai, Inland lakes with me on an isolated Island, plenty resiources.

            I was rying to up my gold to start with.

            I can do it by EDITCITY in WB to a max of 5000 Gold.

            I was reading how to change starting gold with a text editor, I choose Notepad and it saved but when i open the game the save does not show and go back and yes it is there, under my name listed.

            Could I be missing something?

            I went under:

            BeginPlayer
            Team=0
            LeaderType=LEADER_VICTORIA
            LeaderName=Genghis Gramps
            CivDesc=TXT_KEY_CIV_ENGLAND_DESC
            CivShortDesc=TXT_KEY_CIV_ENGLAND_SHORT_DESC
            CivAdjective=TXT_KEY_CIV_ENGLAND_ADJECTIVE
            FlagDecal=Art/Interface/TeamColor/FlagDECAL_StGeorgeCross.dds
            WhiteFlag=0
            CivType=CIVILIZATION_ENGLAND
            Color=PLAYERCOLOR_WHITE
            ArtStyle=ARTSTYLE_EUROPEAN
            PlayableCiv=1
            MinorNationStatus=0
            StartingGold=15000
            StartingX=10, StartingY=23
            StateReligion=
            StartingEra=ERA_ANCIENT
            RandomStartLocation=false
            CivicOption=CIVICOPTION_GOVERNMENT, Civic=CIVIC_DESPOTISM
            CivicOption=CIVICOPTION_LEGAL, Civic=CIVIC_BARBARISM
            CivicOption=CIVICOPTION_LABOR, Civic=CIVIC_TRIBALISM
            CivicOption=CIVICOPTION_ECONOMY, Civic=CIVIC_DECENTRALIZATION
            CivicOption=CIVICOPTION_RELIGION, Civic=CIVIC_PAGANISM
            Handicap=HANDICAP_NOBLE

            I tried below 5000 and no good either.

            Thanks if anyone has an idea for a work around.

              I think maybe I have to enable the cheat section "chipolte" in the ini file, in order to utilize this feature in the WB, I will go see.

              Be back, as soon as I find the ini file.

                  Can you set a limit to the maximum technological advancement or change the stats of units and so forth like you could in Civ III?
