Aussie Group MP Game.

Hi all.

Myself and about 8-10 fellow aussie currently have a very dedicated group that play Paradoxes HOI 2. About 5-6 and probably more of us will be getting CIV IV.

Im interested in starting up a regular aussie group multiplayer game. We normaly play with mainly other aussies due to lag and time differences but open to dedicated players that can make our time slots.

Lets see what interest i get.

Mike- check over at C3P/C4P; I know we have several Aussie players on the ladder who play quite regularly. For what it's worth, though, we've found that as long as both sides have a good connection, lag doesn't seem to be a major issue.

Hey Aussie Lurker.

Yea with hoi & hoi 2 we normal played from 7pm-11pm EST. We sometimes played later on weekends if people were free. Ive seen you have posted alot on these froums, you can probably teach us all a thing about civ. I havny played Civ III in ages, but ive been playing CIV ever since the oringal came. Cant wait to play.

they might try out Civ4 (There are some 8 of them I think)

Great to have you with us trev. Ive sent an ICQ request to you. I think it will be a few weeks before enough of us get the game to have a MP session. Out of interest are any of yous ordering it from the US? Im hopping to get mine by next friday or early the week after by express air mail.

I read that a game of Civ can be played in as little as an hour but, frankly, that doesn't sound like much fun to me. I prefer long epic games. Or good scenarios.

Dont think i will be doing much PBEM not with CIV IV and its MP setup. More then likely play by direct IP like we do in HOI 2 with a large group.

Still waiting for my order to ship from EB. Seems very few if any in the US have the game yet.
