Jan 1504 after changing the builds and micromanagement but before trades

I note that currently the Matsunaga will make peace for the two techs were immeadtely missing and 2 workers. They are otherwise bankrupt.

But by buying some techs now, we may increase the value of the free techs we get from them.

The idea on the Geshia House is that they function as factories. [This is semi-undocumented, a manual check of the editor reveals this.] Bull Wheat will restart the Heroic Epic as soon as the Geshia House finishes at a 50% faster rate. (Actually a little more if you count my MM which increased the shields going to Bull Wheat)

It's about time we honored Shimo by building a shrine. In game terms, it produces 1 extra shield, food, and commerce in all water tiles.

The Sam Archer builds will change to Sam Warriors when we get that tech. They will change again to Sam Mounted Warriors if we can buy horses after getting that tech.

The harbor at Hiyoshi is to allow Bull Wheat to pick up tiles worked by Hiyoushi.

was there 1 or 2 turns left to build (yes I played but cant remember)

why build something else, when tha 1st item would have been done, only to restart it

Research turned off, we will instead buy techs with GPT

Net about 30 gold on map trades

Sell Incense to Ich for 67 gold to support upgrades

Buy Phio + Iaj from Mob for 34 gpt + 1 gold

Buy Bush + D.F. from Mob for 40 gpt + 4 gold

Notice the Imag are the only civ [other than Chos] who can't sell us the way of the mounted warrior.

Buy the way of the mounted warrior from Mob for 33 gpt + 3 gold

We have entered the late daimyo era!

Sell the way of the mounted warrior to the Imag for Contact with the Runin and their entire treasury (2 gold)


Tech status:

The Chos are in the dark ages, but are bankrupt

The Matsuanga and Imagada can only offer us the Ninja tech

All other civs can offer us both techs we are lacking [at least]

The Takeda treasury is also so large : over (9000!) that they have probably finished the tech tree.
This could be a problem given they own the War Council. Unforunately, there is nothing we can do about that.

Our full treasury and remaining GPT brings the art of barter up to Doughtful or Ninja up to almost there.

All units inside cities with baracks capible of upgrades got an upgrade.

IT: Two civs declare war on the Oda

Matsunaga sends 5 Caravels in a stack threatening our coast.

Blockade formed. Lux tax of 10% implemented due to us
having many Matsunaga citizens inside our cities.

3 Vetran Bushis sent out of the front to be upgraded to Sam Warriors.
In light of the two catapults bombardment failing, I should have rotated them out to be upgraded at the same time.

IT

One of the units in the transports is Amphious and attacks us, but it loses and gives us a promotion to boot.
The fleet turns around.

Three additional transports set sail from Matsunaga.

Two civs ally against the Matsunaga. Both already fighting them.

Two civs ally against the Oda. This brings one of them into the war.

Numerious green civ units suicide attacking a town near us beloning to a red civ to our north.
Doesn't matter what their names are because:

A War Council Vote is called by the Takeda. NOOOOOO!

We abstain.

11 Civs vote for the Takeda, 5 for the Mori, 2 abstain

We are disgraced

Without the UN, we'd still have had a decent shot at winning, our power rating was on the upslope.

It would also have been nice for there to be a way to get our GA, maybe via King units winning.
