    La Belle Epoque v.3

    Download: La Belle Epoque v.3 - MAIN FILES

    This is the third installation of this epic industrial era scenario, covering the period between 1902-1918. Many changes has been made, mostly to the multiplayer variant. The most noticeable change is probably the graphics. The terrain and city graphics have been tweaked to give a feeling of the gloomey looking industrialisation era, with dark graphics in urban areas, and bright colours in more non-industrialised areas.

    Some of the changes:
    * Radically raised tech paradigm,
    * Radically raised unit cost
    * Raised the price of most improvements
    * Edited roles etc of various units
    * Changed around some techs
    * Renamed some wonders
    * Corrected some pedia
    * Fortifications added to most AI cities
    * Fixed some bugs here and there
    * Changed some city styles
    * Last but not least, introduced Italy as a playable civ instead of the Ottomans.

    Many other changes made as well, but no need to go into boring details, just enjoy the game as it is!

    Blitzkrieg 1936 v.3.1 multiplayer patch (Only for the colour multiplayer version)

    I am proud to present this unofficial PBEM patch for the stackable multiplayer variant of this version. I call it version 3.1. These are just the raw files, so you need to run the batch file that follows with the scenario, after you've replaced these with the existing ones, to load these files to the game. Many of these changes are experimental and will be implemented to a imminent upgrade of Blitzkrieg 1942 as well .

    Thank you to everybody who reported back change proposals. Hopefully this will make this scenario even more enjoyable in PBEMs .

    Here's some of the changes. Mind that I have not listed all of them here:

    IN GAME CHANGES:
    * Increased Chinse defense.
    * Removed Democracy as USA government. Replaced with Representative Democracy.
    * Tech paradigm from 80 to 100.
    * Removed mines from all squares, to encourage infrastructure and empire development instead of just arming ones nation. Roads removed from mostly all manu sector terrains. Also, a lot of roads in general, farmlands, RRs removed for the same reason.
    * Moved Adam Smith from Berlin to Baku as Caucasus oil. All banks in Russia removed due that wonder.
    * Remove the Ruhr/Ural bug square in Madagascar and New Zealand
    * Removed Rapid Transit from all cities, moved to Plastic tech, and renamed Improved Infrastructure.
    * Various changes made here and there.
    * Created Corsica (airbase) for the French. Created Sardinia (aibase) and Rhodos (airbase) for the Axis. All has an inf div protecting it.

    UNIT PLACEMENT:
    * 2 Cruisers for the Commonwealth to Sri Lanka
    * 2 Battlship for the Commonwealth to Sydney
    * 1 Destroyer for the Commonwealth to Sydney
    * 2 more Freighters for the commonwealthto Sydney
    * 2 Battleships and 5 Destroyers extra for the Axis in Taranto + 1 sub in Sicily.

    RULES CHANGES:
    * Removed Heavy Fighter and and Long Range fighter. Indtroduced Escort Fighters instead. Regular and improved. so now all fighters/divebombers have 1 in range, but some more movement (9). The escort fighters have the same old movement, less attack, and 2 in range. Twin or four engined airplanes still have a range of 3.
    * Cost of nuke to 1000 shields. Movement changed to 9 and 3 range. (with proper unit graphic).
    * Improved Inf now has different roles. Only US Marines and Jap Marines are amphibious. Waffen SS and Red Guard 12 in defense. Commandos and Foreign Legion alpine ability. Other civs get amphibious units in their regular inf's.
    * Regular inf's raised from 12 to 14 in attack.
    * Gave all tanks 1 more defense.
    * PzIV now has alpine ability.
    * JS2 and Tiger now has 1 movement.
    * Katuysha moved to another branch in the tech tree. Now cost 140 shields and has 30 attack.
    * Naval stats completely reworked.
    * Aircraft Carrier AEGIS flag.
    * V-1 reduced to 15 movment.
    * Flaks removed attack aircraft and 0 attack.
