There's a Buffy convention this September in Knoxville... I've already bought Laura a $500 ticket (only 30 available!) so she could go to the cocktail party, the dinner, and all the rest. Giles, Harmony, and a few other cast members will be there.
I forgot to mention the Buffy Academic Conference that Laura went to, where a bunch of professors from all across the world (including somebody from the U. of Auckland) came and talked about BtVS. That's the "Slayage Conference" that you see to the right of the OMWF poster.
As I said, my wife is a big fan.

Nothing like that has happened yet. Her grandfather died just over a year ago, but she was a bit too young to understand what happened to "Buddy." Still hasn't really grasped it, either.
Sophie is pampered though, Imran... She won't know about democrats until she's at least 18!
Well, you may want to explain to her what she saw in the movie. Some of the scenes may be somewhat traumatic to a kid who hasn't had to deal with death.

On the one hand she may grow up to become a pop culture queen, able to befriend every person based on references to sitcoms, movies, and songs that were hits in their time that he or she may remember.
