The current Russian units are already pretty close to perfection, I would say!
A new Lancaster and Mosquito () would be nice!
I tried some of these new fairline units ingame, and they look absolutely spiffing!
In ToT, they just look so much like board pieces from a classic title like 'Axis and Allies'!!!

firstly the mge is pallette is NOT full,
there are plenty of spare colour slots remaining,
link to a post with a working pallette displayed
what i would like to see are the british (and american) funny tanks from D-day 1944, crocodile, amphibs, mine sweepers, road layers and bridge layers/ditch crossers (just to name a few)
amphib armoured units, that would add spice to a scenario of d-day/fortress europe

I am definitely doing a new WW2 scen after Dalek, but
there may be another Sci-Fi or Fantasy scen before it...
I plan to take a new direction with my next WW2 effort,

extra civs. I want to make something that is in depth,

It'd be good for any scenarios involving the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans in a significant way, given the role that aircraft played in reconaisance efforts.
A purely naval Pacific war scen is something that has not been covered much...
Although Patine's epic covered some of the aspect....
Didn't Exile make a Jutland battle scenario? What happened to that?

Was this a recent endevor by Exile? Even if it dates back afew years I'd love to see what naval units he planned to make use of.
Fairline made some nice WW1 era cruisers for it, but they still are reserved, as far as I know...

It's been ages since I don't draw anything, but seeing those marvelous ships I couldn't resist to try to tweak that Scharnhorst by fairline into a Deutschland pocket battleship class, exactly the Admiral Scheer ship. Looks crappy, though

The pocket battleship Deutschland was renamed Lützow in November 1939 (Hitler thought that the possible sinking of a ship named after the motherland would be a serious hit to the German morale) and scuttled by its own crew at the end of the war
It was the original Blücher (an Admiral Hipper class heavy cruiser) the one which sunk in the Oslo fjord after hit by Norwegian coastal batteries

I *think* that if the pallete of units.gif was updated, they would be used. IIRC, Civ uses that pallete for all other gifs as well...Originally posted by fairline

Playing with skipper's Ju-52, I finally learnt how to draw decent looking camouflages
Credits go to Skipper & Fairline. I modified the engines (to make them much shorter) and repainted it in the standard Nationalist Spanish/Legión Cóndor grey-brown-green camo

My personal tribute to the most beautiful heavy cruiser ever designed and built, the Canarias cruiser, along with her sistership the Baleares
Left -> Canarias in 1936-1939, with the black stripe in the funnel
Middle -> Canarias during WW2, wearing neutrality marks (the natonal flag)
Right -> Canarias in 1952-1975, after its modernization.
