Freeciv for windows

Hello , I have Windows 98 and I wonder where I can find a valid version for windows. I tried downloading 1.14 version from official site , but there are just .c files and no .exe .

Under the download page there is a list of binaries to download. There are 5 binaries for windows that you could try.

The current version 2.01 works transparently for Single Player anyway in Windows 98 i.e. no need to worry about setting up your server or client.

Update - latest version 2.2.5 loads just fine on my Toshiba Satellite with Windows Vista Home Premium. And 2.0.9 works on my old PC with Windows-Me.

Game continues to improve, and if you're a newbie you can get heaps of help first time through if you select the Scenarios option and choose the Tutorial. Some help is also on civilization.wikia.com - especially if you are migrating from Civ2.
