    You're welcome!

4.) In the Norwegian Campaign, each turn is a day. I have starting year as 1. Make the turn increment 1. Go into the Labels.txt and change 'A.D.' to 'Day'.

    Voila!

            It's done.

It's complete, though I haven't yet zipped it for transport.

            It is;

A very small, OPERATIONAL level scenario.

            25 turns long

2 player, solo only as the Germans

No swastikas (for our German friends out there)

No research, production, rush-buying, diplomacy, air or sea units.

I need a splash page. Preferably a winter photo of German/Russian/both troops in action, c. 1942-43.

Gareth, will you get in touch? I'd like you to look over the units bmp and see if you can clean it up a little. They're mostly all yours anyway. Also I'd like to talk about my next project.

That last one was very good, but I've found one that I'm going to use.

                      Thanks all for the photos.

The scen is complete in every respect. I'll be testing it over the next few days and release it when I'm satisfied with the results. It came together very quickly, but then it's quite a departure from the size of scens that I usually build.

It'll be out before the end of this week.

edit; Changed my mind. Some of you actually enjoy the beta-testing process, it seems, so I tried to upload the thing here without the sound files.

As usual, no such luck with ACS. All these cool features seem to work fine for everyone else but moi.

For those who would like to test this thing, get in touch via PM.

Send me the files Phenix and I'll give the units the once-over. What was the terrain you were after BTW?

Ok, I played for 25 turns, which the readme says is how long the scen lasts. I got a message on turn 24 saying there's 5 turns left

Anyway, I had a great time playing this scen. Not too many turns and not too many units to handle. On turn 25 I destroyed the Russian civ by capturing their last city. Was it because it was too easy or becasue I'm the best damn panzer commandor of our days?...I don't know

In the beginning it looked as if I was getting my ass whooped on the centre part of the river, so I moved 2/3s of my force in that direction, and the rest northwards. The Ruskies attacked me sporadicly in the centre and I retaliated from the strongpoints and with hit and run attacks from the cities. I lost many units to Russian counter attacks. But my cunning must have been too much for them in the long run.

Now I was beeing harrassed on the northern part of the rive, and from the masses of forces I saw they posessed up there, I had no choice but to redirect my force northwards. On turn 20, or so, I made a bold move towards Surovikino, and it fell. From there I blitzed my way to Kalatsch with an MK IV and an MK III. The inf reserves I got on turn 10 I already then sent towards the now encircled Oblivskaya. By chance they reached the city in time to coordinate the attacks I made in the north. When that city fell, a Russian general came over to me and handed me his side arms (Russian civ destroyed).

A mighty fun scenario, Phenix! I'll give you a thumbs up for this. It's nice with these little scenarios from time to time, were you don't have to read a god damn manual before playing.

What was a bit annoying was that I had to fire those artillery barrages every turn, even though there was nothing to fire them on at some times. Why don't you give that artillery unit the carrier flag, so one can choose to save the ammo. I just aired them over to the nearest town. If this is intentional, that's an ok sollution, though a bit weird .

                                My sav is attached.
