PBEM sign-up thread : the random game

[Flandrien]

An independent person (not me, I want to play in this game) starts 4 games with all settings set to random (except world size : world size will be set to match the number of players).
He then sends each player 4 screenshots : one of his starting position in each game.
Each player evaluates each starting position from 4 (best) to 1 (worst).
Each game is then given a score, which simply is the difference between highest and lowest rating.
The game with lowest score, and on equal score, highest rate gets started.

Example:
game A gets rated 4 - 4 - 1 - 3 - 4 ( score = 3 )
game B gets rated 2 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 3 ( score = 1 )
game C gets rated 1 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 ( score = 1 )
game D gets rated 3 - 3 - 4 - 4 - 1 (score = 3 )

in this case, game B gets started.

In a random game, you don't choose a tribe.
It is picked random.

Hmmm - intersting approach. In other words, use the game with the lowest deviation, so to speak.

Flandrien - I would love to. But me thinks I am at about my limit, and there are two more games in the works as we speak. I am going to have to pass.

There are a pile of new folks in the forum who might be up for it. Check out snakegurl's thread, and maybe try Grandpa Troll as well.

I don't know your time zones, but I think thats the play order. How many players do you want?
