Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Well suppose this top blast was just to mask a subterranean nuclear test. We'll probably end up having to do our own tests, but this would screw up any crater formed by an underground detonation, as well as the seismograph readings.

The Us is saying its not nuclear- more significantly, the north isn't talking. If they had tested a nuke, they would say, becuase that is the point- announce your feat, why keep it quiet?

MIght have been a massive accidental explosion of munitions, rocket fuel, or another highly explosive substance.

The latest CNN article is full of BS explanations. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Denmark have nuked N. Korea? The plot thickens

That's one hell of a mushroom cloud, 4km...that's in the megaton range of device, which I sincerely doubt N. Korea would have the capability to produce...could it be a small meteor impact?

Well, if we really want to get complicated- the North Koreans were planning to test a nuke, but the test went wrong, and it occured next to a bunch of military installations full of rocket fuel and high explosives, hence a gigantic boom.

Or maybe a NK nuclear test set of a forest fire...

Or some other mysterios event- like a UFO.

                        fine, i'll admit what happened.

a source has told me a small cadre of south korean ghosts went in with no backup, but used their ocular implants to guide a nuclear device launched from tarsonis into nkorea.

Smaller than the Hiroshima cloud? Are you sure...the Hiroshima bomb was fairly small...

                                the general wanted a guarantee.

otherwise, a fleet of battlecruisers, siege tanks, hercs, and marines would have been sent in, with some wraiths to keep the skies clear.

and that would have been bad news, because of those damn scourges... and it might have attracted the attention of some scouts and carriers.
