  • How to make unit numbers more realistic?

    Hey guys, you know how you can produce as many units as you want as long as you pay support? Well, I'm trying to make units reflect a civilization's population more. Is there a way to make it so that every unit you create subtracts from the population of the city that produced it? Or perhaps make each unit cost one food just like a settler/engineer? I can't seem to find code for this in the rules.txt. Any help is much appreciated!

    I guess if you gave them all the settler role (5 in the third from last column in the unit stat part of rules.txt) that would do it. It would make for some very unpredictable behaviour by the AI though, so this isn't really a practical suggestion.
