A word of warning about culture flips: I just got a city through a flip without being given a chance to refuse it or even, that I noticed, being notified that the flip had occurred. Those of you playing under the default AU 601 rules where accepting flips isn't allowed may want to watch for that. (Presumably, what you'd have to do to stick to the original intent is give the flipped city back.)

Theseus and I aren't using a tracker thread. With just two players, I think it would be more trouble than it's worth.
To clarify what I wrote earlier about my having uncovered the map, I managed to arrange map deals with AIs to uncover the entire pangea for me in AD 570. Fortunately, the AIs between them had knowledge of all of Theseus's territory. I've had a very good REX, and Theseus and I have stayed peaceful toward each other, so the tech pace in our game has been faster than I would have expected before we started.

We're at 2800bc (sigh); we do keep our turntracker thread up to date 100%, if you're keeping track. We're going to try to shoot out a few hours worth of turns tomorrow afternoon, maybe get to 1000 bc or even the ADs ... it's definitely possible to do that many turns (60+) in a few hours with only 2 players ^^

but with just 2mins to play your turn, micromanaging and AI diplomacy will not be done to the extent you may want to win the game
