All recieved. About to head out to work though, so no update until later today. From a look at the orders though, here's a prologue...

The Last Spaced Cowboy
Not long ago, the combined fleets of the Allies had scored a devastating blow to the Spaced Cowboy empire.

Now, after a turn of building up further strength, they were ready to finish the job started two rounds past.

Hundreds of ships under the command of three Overlords converged on a rendezvous point just outside Spaced territorial space. The fleet bunched together into the famed Doomstar formation and proceeded cautiously for long-distance engagement.

Spaced scrambled his fleet, which prepared to defend in normal battle formation. WIth more lasers in his arsenal, he expected this to do more damage to the enemy, without exposing any major vulnerabilities.

Down on the surface of the Spaced capital world, a spy from Vlad had located a new shield generator under construction. Admist the general panic, the spy slipped past the defenses and sabotaged the under-construction generator. It appeared that Spaced was truly doomed now, if in the freak chance not now, it would be soon coming...

With fighting taking place at slightly closer range, the damage was more intense. The opening Allied torpedo volley alone did mortal damage to Space's entire fleet, whose lasers failed to shoot down even one in ten. From that point on, it was a lost cause for Overlord Spaced, but his valiant captains fought on.

Next came the Allied fighter attack. Although Spaced had lasers, he didn't have enough, and could only watch as the fighters hastened his fleet's doom.

Next came the second Allied torpedo barrage. By now, what was left of Spaced's fleet had the tubes loaded and was firing back. While the Allies' massed formation provided a easy target, he was far too outnumbered.

Out of torpedoes, the Allies finally switched to lasers, and here Spaced made a last ditch attack. His volley of torpedoes was devastating against the Allies, and all of the small vessels were destroyed along with some of the Titans in the blasts.

Still, it was small comfort for Spaced, who by now was clear not only to have lost the battle but also the war. As his warships exploded, the fighters were launched in two waves on a final mission.

Both were futile. The first wave was defeated by an enemy squadron of more than twice their number, while the second was destroyed by a wall of lasers. With that came the end of Overlord Spaced.

Unlike the previous long-range shelling from which the Allies emerged unscathed, here there were casualties.

Skanky lost 2 laser dreadnoughts and 4 laser titans.

Ljube lost 1 laser frigate, 4 fighter frigates, 4 torpedo frigates, and 4 laser titans.

Vlad lost 1 laser dreadnought, 1 laser battleship, 1 laser cruiser, 3 fighter cruisers, 1 torpedo battleship, 2 torpedo cruisers, and 3 laser titans.

Round 13

The Last Spaced Cowboy

Spaced's once-vast empire was carved up by the Allies. The twenty-three bases, along with an additional base cobbled together from the hulks of Spaced's fleet, were split eight apiece.

Victory celebrations took place around the universe on an unprecedented scale. It had been the first time the entire galaxy had united to fight a common enemy, and after several long rounds of war, victory had been had.

As the aprties went on into the dark night of the cosmos, though, each of the three Overlords knew that this alliance would not last, for in the end there could only be one...
