Seeding is based on RL FIFA world ranking of equivalent nations- (Guardinia has been provisionally assigned Argentina, Dakmoristan = Uruguay). The fact that footballing giants sucha as Iraq, Qatar and Australia have pushed Wales down to 60th in the rankings made my sides split...
Each group will consist of one team from each pot. Karakas is automatically placed into group A as hosts.

Ceroo manager, Mark Hughes was disappointed that Ceroo had been drawn in the same group as Karakas, was was pleased that they managed to get what would be considered the 'weaker' teams from the other two pots.

Hughes said that the team is 'optomistic' of qualifying for the second stage.

Karakas national coach Ismail Fanaani said his team would approach group A confidently but carefully.

"I watched Jonchastan's friendly against Auldoninna and they looked like a skillful and attack-minded team," he said.

"As for Ceroo, the team has a lot of technical ability and a lot of international pedigree. They work very hard and are usually difficult to break down."

Team captain Paco Contreras said that his team-mates were confident. "We won't fear anyone," he said.

In spite of the squad missing a couple of coach Fanaani's favored players due to injury, including midfielder Jorge Belletti and striker Jamie Forsyth, Karakas remains among the bookmakers' favorites to win the title.

Auldonina Head Coach, Eleni Jameson, stated that whilst Auldonina were not rated highly in the game of soccer, her team would do their best to honour their country and play to the best of thier ability.

Each match will be played on its own merit and they wouldnt be looking ahead to any second rounds. it was one match at a time ..

NCC Pavesia manager Alan McIntos says, that they won't wait miracles from their game.

"Our men play as well as they can and we play one game at the time. We don't have any offical targets that we try to complete, althought in the team we try to get to the secong round."

The atmosphere in Jonchastan and Chandler Island is electric in the aftermath of their surprise draw together in Group A. While both sides hope to advance, the real bragging rights will be in the outcome of their head-to-head match up.

Auldoninna Tourist Agencies flooded with Auldoninas leaving for karakistan, Already they purchased 15,000 seats at 4v3 Highlander Stadium, Hammerheim, They will arrive today and watch the first match tomorrow.

A further 25,000 are expected to travel by weekend for 2nd match
