Post Sold copies of civ series

I read on the website for civ3 that series sold over 4 million copies. What are they talking about: the miscroprose part, the firaxis part, the activision part or all combined?

One of the admins here gave me these figures for CTP and SMAC: approximately 500K each. Do you have a site where I can check this/find out others?

I think they were just talking about Civ I and II. But I cannot confirm that.

I know that Civ I sold approximately 800,000 copies. So did Civ II sell 3.2 million? I just don't know.

    Civ I 800K? Sure?

I recently found out that the best selling game ever was Myth, an adventure game, so I am checking how is civ genre holding ground in commercial terms.

    thanks for replys

That's probably accurate. I doubt that a civ3 website would consider call to power a civ game.
