    Looking forward to the new play tests coming out in 05. Its seems many still remember this game . Its still gets a mention in many game forums. Hope the new verison of CTP2 will bring back many fans .We have a long wait till Civ4 comes out which is some time in early 06

    Enjoying Ctp2 again thanks to the updates in the new builds. E's new tiles have given the game a new look. Brightens eveything up easy to find goods on the map.
    What im doing now is putting together a build that is bits and parts of all the mods. Like Diplomod 3.6 and many by Player1. Never liked the Frenzy mod all the much and was looking around for something better.
    Maybe the Better AI slc file for amry movement. Is there a update on this file?

    Hello to you all.
    I've browsed thru all the SCP threads and would like to make an offer.

    Back in the days when the Tandy TRS80 was the WOW! computer I worked as a Simulation Designer creating military boardgames (refight Normandy - that sort of thing). So, while I'm not a C++ code-cutter, I can offer insight into why certain things are in the game. After all, Civilisation was originally a boardgame.

    The two items which immediately spring to mind are
    1) Archers vs Tanks
    2) extended vision from hills and mountains.

    If you guys would be interested in this kind of background info just let me know and I'll start a thread.

    PS, what's 'lol' - I've worked out the other abbreviations but this has me beat?
