I've been told why this game is called 'Heart of Fire'.
We're all equidistant from that 3500 mountain in the centre.
That mountain has the best terrain in the game - once you control the bloody thing.
This mountain is the Heart of Fire.
This game will be won or lost by who controls that mountain,
or these factions will kill each-other trying to control it.
I'm attaching my best guess as to the map's structure.
Light Grey and the 6 Rainbow Colours are factions.
Dark Grey is the Heart of Fire
White is Water.
Exactly which faction is which is a random guess.
I'm so happy that this game has entertained everybody in different ways.

This is a SMAC game with a central theme.
That theme is a big can of whoop ass in the centre of the map.
The players vary greatly in skill and experience.
Agressiveness and Agenda are also mixed.
It will get interesting once the diplomacy rolls in.
Are we gonna talk or are we gonna start 0wn1ng?

I make any tracking thread fun. The smack talking is endless, and the dropping of vital information and red herrings alike makes the game wildly unpredictable (save for me winning).
I'm off to find a Peanuts Archive - gotta find one with Lucy in her psychiatric booth talking to Linus or Snoopy.
Actually as far as I can remember it's really only Charlie Brown that visits Lucy at her booth. Although there's quite a few ones where Lucy gets the upper hand on Linus or Snoopy.
Would be useful if I could get a Peanuts archive...
I could edit the text to be more relevant to this game in progress.
Main issue is which character represents which person.
There's doubling up for Rerun and Linus; I don't know who to pick for Hercules and Jamski, though my bets are Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty.

Light off-topic talking is ok. Especially in the beginning. But I would like to keep the turn thread more of less clean with only the turn tracking and the roleplays if possible. Thank you.
Also, Enigma, I forgot to tell you that it had been previously agreed that this game is not expected to be a very fast pace game, since some of us may have a rather busy RL schedule.

Who's that crazy about post count these days? Post count +1's are so 2003. I'd rather just see the turn coming round a bit faster.
