  • Mark or Dan Help! Broken Links

The link to CtP hack 1.21 is broken, the link is http://apolyton.net/cgi-bin/ctp/files/download.pl?id=75

Under IE the message is "The page cannot be displayed", under Netscape I get a screen saying the file has moved, but the link given is a directory, http://apolyton.net/cgi-bin/ctp/files/ which is "forbidden" to users.

The second is from the CtP downloads page, when searching for mods you find CD's mod and a link to the "4.2 faq", http://apolyton.net/forums/Forum11/HTML/000341.html which is broken. I suspect this is a thread that has been archived?

The CTP Hack 1.21 has been removed from our files database; if you find a link to it from anywhere besides forum threads, please let me know. As for the re-direction part, most servers do not allow the contents of CGI-Bins to viewed through the Web.

Finally, in regards to the "4.2 FAQ" thread being broken, this is the result of a bug in UBB eluded to in an earlier posting in this forum.

      DanQ,

Why was the hack removed? In the CtP Creation forum, under the topic "Apolyton Pack v1 - Readme and comments" it states that it is "highly recommended" that the hack be applied before the Apolyton Pack. Is this no longer a good recommendation?

The removal of this file was an error of mine -- the hack itself is fine.

It will be re-added to the database shortly.

If anyone finds any other broken links, please bring them to our attention and either Markos or myself will correct them ASAP.
