Intra-Hive PBEM (sign-up)

I'm starting up a PBEM among players of The Hive, to see how active and competant we are.
The map is quite unusual, so be prepared to throw some old strategies down the toilet.

There are 6 factions available on this map:
Morgan
University
Cyborgs
Hive
Gaians
Drones

Or I can free a slot and give you another faction of your choosing.
I've called Gaians,
A mystery celebrity has called Cyborgs.
I'll allow the people of The Hive first call in this game, then I'll make it public.

Game rules:
No unity pods
ANY Victory is allowed.
ANY bug exploit is allowed.
Native life is off
The map is 8 x 16 - plenty of rocks and rainfall.

All right, Native life is back on, but there are a -lot- of very annoying spore launchers!
BTW even though it's 8x16 the way I've built the map makes a quick attack pretty impossible, as your first base will have to build a former and a pod (to clear fungus to plop a coastal base down), and since your base will probably have grown by then, you'll need another pod to destroy the first base.
that's a good 12 turns just to get a size 2 base on the coast.
Next, you'll need to go to doc:flex to get a boat.
Building the boat might take another 3 turns, and another turn to get your unit across.

That's the first realistinc invasion I see in 2116, and since people who DIDN'T rebuild their starting base will have a whole lot more stuff, I'd call it off if I were you.

You know... I designed that scenario specifically to keep out those with low attention spans and whining tendencies.
