Also keep in mind that they were arrested after one of THEIR OWN mistake.
I doubt any other police in the world no matter how much more trained than the Greek one could have done more if THEY hadn't screwed up. Luckily they did, perhaps because the police was closing on them.

I thought Apolyton OT was a place where the art of posting to provoke, aka Trolling, was respected.

But I seem to have been wrong, since nobody even cares enough to rate my latest work.

So I will rate myself

I get points for provoking the victim to make an ass of itself, again

I get points for using only reliable sources and truth.
I get points for not allowing the subject to change.

And was it easy? Hell no! Read the first page of the thread! I had to resort to stirring the patriotic feelings of the victim and that is what I think broke him.

As a bonus to myself it has to be recognized paiktis is no newbie troll himself, knows all the tricks, and is thus 100 times harder to troll than the average naive soul that strays to OT.

I lose some points for not managing to get Markos too, but damn it was a near miss

I give myself 8/10.

The Unibomber operated in the US for almost 18 years. Most people didn't care because he rarely struck, and the vast majority of people were outside his target group. Why should anyone care of 17N continued to exist if they were killing torturers and murderers and the criminals who made Greece a hell from '67 to '74?

he was sought pretty intensely though - he was one man, and pretty good at avoiding detection. Was Greece trying just as hard to capture 17N.

So I assume you have no problem with the Iraqis who are hunting down and assasinating Baathist in southern Iraq these days? And I guess you would have no problem with folks in ex-Communist countries hunting down and killing ex-officials? Kind of a problem for the rule of law, Id think.

Not really, no. Though it's not really a good idea, since many of the Baathists are Shi'ites and have technical skills the country's gonna need.

Don't worry about the image of your country. I know many people who visited including half my family. And I know Greeks are people like any other, you yourself are a bit extremist but so what? There are those everywhere. I am myself far from extremist or even passionate nationalist though, the reason I flamed your ass a couple times is just because it was either countertrolling for Croatia or helping out some other wannabe trolls.

I am proud of my technique though, as I manage what I do without name calling (mostly) and using only facts. Used properly, facts hurt

I assume that you have by now grown yourself a thick skin and this thread was probably your last mistake. I don't expect to make any more standalone threads about Greece anymore (I have not made more than three in total IIRC anyway).

It's more an empty threat than anything. I can most likely predict what you would write about Croatia as you should know what I would write about Graecia so I don't see the point anymore. I don't like to travel the same ground all the time
