Yeh, it was nice meeting you too. I had a good time.

But no more drinking on Monday nights. Ouch.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Adam Smith - yes - I'd like to have lunch, but can't access my PM's right now - Thursday is no good but Friday might be okay if you can get to the area of 1800 G street? You know the federal building there? Saturday is best for me though.

Is Krazyhorse or TCO around? Maybe we could do a Polymeet this Saturday? I promise to ignore you GP

Evening are good for me too.

18th and G st should be the White House Conference Center or Old Exucutive Office Building?
Only possible hitch is if it snows, school closes, and I have to watch the kids. (snow chaos - a DC institution )

If you cant get to PM's how do we do contact? Does DanS have contact info?

Hey, I can almost understand that, using the first/last letter method.

    So what's up for Saturday?

Interestingly enough, if you want to see some large portions you should check out The Outback. Great steakhouse with an Aussie theme. See if there is anything actually Australlian in the place besides the boomerangs and kangaroo wall decorations.

So, not that anyone cares about ol' Ozzy, but is there a meet going on?

AH needs to go to Olive Garden. He can eat until he busts his gut.

Bombay Palace, a semi-s_****y Indian place on K Street has a good buffet for $12 on weekends. My roomates and I usually hit it up for brunch on Sundays, thus removing the need to eat for the next day and a half....

    8 inches. Joy.

They are really gonna need me at work, as a Michigander I bet I'm the only one who is qualified to drive in it all. DC is gonna shut down, bunch a whimps here.

I'm ready though. My car is all decked out for the holidays, my tree is up, and Christmas lights are up (on the house, car and tree). Bring on the snow!

Tabard Inn's supposed to be good, although every time I've gone, they've been super busy and the wait was too long for us.

Don't know what Chief... is. Doesn't ring a bell.

If you're looking to bust up your expense account with dinner, I have suggestions of where you can do a lot of damage.

This is really a Southern town, with Southern attitudes about snow and ice. Normally, we don't get much snow. Maybe one big snowfall every three or four years.

It's right across the road from Tabbard's, in a courtyard.

The Tabbard's meal was superb. Very memorable.
