Hmmm, an interesting move. Che: It appears the Turks and Russians took your advice and our now teaming up. Pitty. The betrayal of the Russians wasn't entirely unexpected though why he'd want to start a fight with me when the Germans/English are breathing down his neck in the north is curious as is his choice to block neither the German nor the English build. I guess it was just a newbie mistake. I suppose I should have just stabbed him last turn, however, his out numbered in both the north and the south so he's not likely to last long.

And what the hell was the point of sending an English fleet to Picardy???

That's a function of France not doing well. An experienced play against an inexperienced player will almost always do well. The reason why that is true is exemplified by the English fleet in Picardy.

Well there's always exceptions. Looks at Turkey in Nostalgia Dip. But always two sides of Diplomacy the negotiation and the tactical side, you can get lucky with the negotiation side (have everyone around you busy elsewhere) or be a natural at it but the tactical side always takes a bit of work (I like to think that I'm a pretty good tactiction, despite being a mediocre negotiator).

Does everyonbe think we can get the builds in tomorrow? I'm supposed to leave for two weeks starting next Sunday so I'd like to be able to look at the board and submite orders before I leave.
