Just saw one of those banner breaking news things on CNN, a US Helo with as many as 35 passengers was downed over Iraq by an unknown weapon.
No more info as of yet.
edit - Saw BBC, Irish and other Euro sites also, but seemed from those stories that the helo crash landed, not necessarily a hard crash.

From Reuters.BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A U.S. Chinook helicopter flying toward Baghdad airport was shot down on Sunday and there were at least 20 casualties, the U.S. Army said.
A military spokesman said the downed helicopter had been carrying 32 to 35 people. He said rescue teams were in the area where the helicopter came down.The helicopter was one of two Chinooks heading toward Baghdad airport carrying troops back from a rest and recreation trip.
The spokesman said he had no information on where the helicopter was downed. But locals in the flashpoint town of Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, said a U.S. helicopter had come down nearby.

I'm looking for the news here to get some confirmation about the number of casualties.
Bad stuff.. I think one of the worse things with this (naturally with the casualties) are that this can be used to get some momentum and confidence. Isn't it this weekend that Saddam encouraged attacks against US?
