Solver: How good do you consider yourself at Civ 2 and Civ 3?
Ming: Civ II - Second tier. I play a strong competitive game, and I feel I always have a chance to win. However, there are some great players out there... Kaak... Eyes... JB... Xin Yu... Markus... War4ever... and many others who will probably kill me for not mentioning... I’m not on that level. But, I would be in the game, and would have a chance to win... but I would need some breaks to do so. These guys are good.

Civ III... hard to say. I’ve mastered the basic strategies... but there are some people who claim that Deity is easy. I don’t feel that way yet. I really think the Civ III will be a better MP game than SP... assuming they do it right.

Solver: What do you think about the parts of Apolyton outside the forums?
Ming: There is a lot of great stuff there if you take the time to look. I like the columns... news items... I always check out the mods and I usually get my patches from it. But, I spend the bulk of my time in the Forums...

Solver: Don't you want to take this chance and openly declare rah is your DL?
Ming: He is my identical twin brother. Many people have played us in MP at the same time. And jrabbit parties with BOTH of us every Friday night. Also, you can ask War4ever, since he has talked to both of us on ICQ phone, at the same time. Oh, and you can ask Barano too... he knows both of us from College, and still plays MP with us. Does THAT answer your question;)

Solver: What's your attitude to having most posts at Apolyton forums? Ever care?
Ming: It is what it is... I’ve been here a long time, and I still post On Topic more than I post in the OTF. Even before I became a mod, I was in the top ten.

Solver: Tell us something about your real life career.
Ming: Since college, I joined one of the best and largest Advertising Agencies in the world, and have been in the business for over 24 years. My specialty is media. I lecture on the subject of Media and Advertising at Universities and Industry events. I also teach a training seminar around the country on how to plan media campaigns for Business to Business products. I’ve been quoted in many newspapers and trade journals.

Solver: What about Firaxis not including scenarios and MP in Civ 3?
Ming: It didn’t surprise me...

Solver: And another one - ever plan on buying SimGolf?
Ming: No... while it looks interesting, I don’t really like any of the Sim games. Plus, I do play golf in the real world, so who needs a game.

Solver: Why did you want to become a moderator? A big mafia boss in real life, I assume?
Ming: I didn’t... That was the farthest thing from my mind. They came to me and asked if I would be interested in the job. I never approached them on the subject. I only did it because I wanted to help them in any way I could.
