about players not involved in the combat? Do they wait until the combat
phase is over, or can they continue on?
[PeterAP] They will
have to wait, what we are trying to create is a system where they will
be able to take care of cities and do the managment and not simply stare
at a "please wait" sign

will it be for players to create their own units - what will you include
and how will they be stored
[PeterAP] the game
is very concentrated on the Mplaer aspects
[PeterAP] It will be very easy to create units,
the player will edecide what he/she wants, the different catagories will
be: Armour, Weapon, Leg Armour (we hope) and special attributes

have any non-infantry units

towers and how will these be created in that case

use tech discoveries and recources such as wood or rock, and gold

about mutliplayer....

how many civs are there?
[MarkG] Will each
fixed race have specific attributes?
[PeterAP] Our goals
is for a player never to play the same game twice!

So there will be up to 8 players?
[PeterAP] 8 of them
will, the custome races will be defined by the player based on a system
of points, will the player want to be a military race and thus produce,
or a tech race or both once again these are examples
yes up to 8 playes
[MarkG] So, at the
start you will be able to customize the attributes of your race or choose
a pre-fixed....
[MarkG] what choices
will you have for multiplaying? tcp-ip, hotseat...
[PeterAP] Yep, we
believe that at first people will go for the fixed races to learn how to
play and once they know this...I believe they will customize the race,
trying each time to find new and better combinations
[MarkG] will you
be able to save a combination and share it with others?
[PeterAP] Tcp-ip
for sure, Hotseat no due to the fact that it is simultaneous playing! All
other options including we hope internet play will be present
[MarkG] how is simultaneous
playing going to work?
[PeterAP] Yes you
will be able to share and save the combo, the sim aspect is simple all
players will play at the same time, and pass the turn, one will be able
to set a fixed time if they so desire
This is so nobody needs to wait an etenity in
front of a please wait sign
[MarkG] what happens
when units of diffirent players are close? who plays?
[PeterAP] This is
why the combat is in real time and between the turns so that one never
loses a unit because they were not watching or because the other one clicked
faster

[MarkG] So, you say
that this is a fantasy game. What is the background of the game?
[PeterAP] the units
will also have hit points so it will not be I hit first you die now system
as seen in civnet
[PeterAP] Yes it
is a fantasy game, with an evolution within a fantasy decor and fell
[MarkG] Is there
a plot?
[PeterAP] The stroy
revolves around a race and a god
[MarkG] Are you god?

are a civ leader
[PeterAP] the god is limited and in-order to win you must
bring your god towards a human shape
[MarkG] In what way?
[PeterAP] Your god
can only unleash his true power in the shape of a man, your success will
help him; your failure will weaken him
[MarkG] I admit I'm
not very familiar with fantasy stuff.... :)
[PeterAP] He will
reward you and punish you occordingly and will have his own ego as a god
[PeterAP] We wanted
to do this in a fantasy world due to the fact that all of us have playedin
historical civ games
[MarkG] So, there
is global domination on this game?
[PeterAP] we know
how they evolve, as they reflect mans evolution
[PeterAP] A fantsy
world however invites alot of creativity
[PeterAP] One will
never discover the ultimate weapon allowing him/her to master all society
[PeterAP] The only
true way of domination revolves around the end of the game, the god comes
back to life and brings or destroys all others
