  • David Bowie Dead at 69

A real loss, for me, a more important a formative influence than John Lennon, a giant of the seventies.

And he managed to die 69, how appropriate, always the stylist

Same. Completely unexpected seeing as he released an album last week. It would seem that he stayed alive long enough to clear the decks and leave on his own terms.

    RIP

He never thought he will see 30, 69 is not too bad.

The early period was the best.

His dead was surprising and a true loss

Funny how it nearly always works out that way, isn't it?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I'm a little sad about this. Space Oddity is the reason I want to die alone in the cold, dark vastness between worlds.

It's weird that in the arts and entertainment section of the paper this morning, they're reviewing his new album but it went to press prior to the notification of his death so there's no mention of it.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Like Wayne Rogers from MASH - Fox money did a great tribute for him.

Which also seemed to show in a very nice way once again that Fox is just harmless pantomime conflict most of the time
