Stone Mountain is well-known not only for its geology, but also for the enormous bas-relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world.[1] The carving depicts three figures of the Confederate States of America: Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Does Germany have a Nazi Mt Rushmore?

    I didn't think so.

Been there. It's boring anyway. Let the Taliban do their thing.

Hahaha. You are under the impression that the traitorous pieces of **** and slave culture is something worth preserving.

The symbols of the enemies of the United States of America should be obliterated.

Demolish an entire mountain just for a small part of the surface? that seems like overkill...

If it had been made during/just after the war, then let it be. Though, since it was made half a century after, I suggest that the local jails send inmates out to chip it down.

We should make the ghost of Simon Legree destroy it with a chisel

This carving contains important historical figures that contributed US history. I don't see anything really wrong with it...a reminder not to F**K with the US government perhaps?
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

Problem with US is that it's a country that barely has stopped using diapers and now are like a 5-6 year old child rummaging around trying to find out how to move.

That said, I'm from a country where vikings are considered something to be proud of

Someone should organize a group to sneak in at night and re-carve the figures. I'm thinking that Martin Luther King, Fredrick Douglas and John Brown would be awesome, or perhaps Ulysses S. Grant, William Tecumseh Sherman and Winfield Scott would work.

                              I like this idea

commemorate American heroes instead of traitors
