  • Happy Columbus Day!

To celebrate stores' Columbus Day sales today, I'm going to rummage through merchandise, making a horrible mess, taking whatever I want for free, kill the managers, and rape the cashiers.

This is actually a lot tamer than I'd expect out of a MrFun Columbus Day thread - I figured there'd be at least one picture of the Village People Indian sucking dick or something along those lines

I'm just glad the Aztec are gone.

You don't like the idea of being sacrificed to their sun god?

I agree that he doesn't deserve to be honoured, but mostly because he was a idiot who ended up into the history books by being massively wrong.

That's not even the significant thing he was wrong about. He only got his voyage going because he convinced the court that the earth was smaller than it really was.

You mean the Cortes of Spain?

There is speculation that Queen Isabella had prior information.

                            Isn't that amazing though.
The spanish right after the reconquista with loud brawlish hardened soldiers that had nothing anymore to do and created all sorts of trouble in spain, discover the new world and pour all those soldiers there.
Well, what ensued isn't really any surprise.

And Because she took that step, we're all typing here now. We have much to owe to Queen Isabella for her foresight.

Personally we should all call it Isabella, or Catholic Monarch's day.
