    OK I have two questions:
    1. How come Apple can't figure out how to secure what is essentially a goddamn FTP server? This isn't hard.
    2. Why do people take compromising photos of themselves when they don't want anyone else to see them, and then put them online, again in the hopes that they will be viewed by no one?

Context: Apple iCloud got hacked. Nude photos from what appears to be dozens of celebrities have been leaked, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton. (Merry Christmas babe thread viewers)

Whoever did this is a cretin, and I do feel sorry for the celebrities, but I gotta say there's a little cosmic justice going on here. If you absolutely must take nude photos of your self, why the **** would you back them up online? Are you afraid you'll never have an opportunity to take more if you lose them?

Not linking because I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

McKayla is also not amused. Most people have no idea what iCloud is when they click "yes".

I put all the photos of my naked body on Apolyton's server just to spite anyone who ever hacks it. Just in case they never bother looking at the image files, I've converted them all to ASCII art and given the files suggestive names like passwords.txt

While I'm not particularly knowledgable in the field of internet security, I'd hazard that the poeple in charge of making the decision aren't either.

What Onodera said. Most people have no idea, at best they think that having them in 'the cloud' is 'safer' in case their phones get stolen/lost/whatnot. I'd also hazard they didn't actually make the decition to put these particular picures online, and rather that they do it for all pictures by default, and aren't very knowledgable about it all.

I love the idea of hot stars taking pictures if themselves just for themselves to look at.

I don't really get the point of taking the pictures in the first place. I've never felt the slightest desire to posses naked pictures of myself.

You fail to undrestand how publicity works. The hacker just provided them with free publicity worth millions of dollars. For all we know they or their agents are the hackers.

Why would anyone get excited about Kate Upton? Are there so many BBW lovers in the US?

Teresa Palmer has Buscemi eyes. I guess this leak will help many girls understand that most celebrities look so good because they're made up and photoshopped, not because they're superior to them.
