    Anyone else purchased a XBOX One or PS4? (Or both)

    I bought an Xbox One yesterday. I'm really loving the voice integration on it. I've played Skylanders Swapforce (well my kids have) and Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag. I haven't had a chance to play Dead Rising 3 yet. The graphics are good but not mind blowing. Here's some other thoughts.

    The Good
    -It's nearly silent
    -Plays Blurays just fine
    -The day one update went perfectly
    -Xbox live remembered my netflix sign in
    -The new controller feels better than my 360 one
    -Multitasking works really well

    The Bad
    -None as of yet

    The Annoying
    -Spent an hour maybe trying to figure out how to eject a disk without touching the front of the console. No string of voice commands or button pushes would work. This just seems like an oversight, but still in all the years of development and playtesting nobody came across this?

    The Indifferent
    -The system is heavier than I expected.

    What was required? How long before we can buy one that works?

    Anyone with PS4 need to update the machine?

    I will be buying one of 'em in a month or less so I'll be watching this thread

      Would this be good to buy for older people who just would use it for bluray and voice activated channel changing/netflx? Like can an old person walk in, say "Xbox, go to channel 42?" How about "Xbox, go to netflix and watch movie House of Cards?" "Or Xbox, go to Fox News?"

        I have mine connected to the network and it needed an approximately 500mb update when I first powered it on.

        The voice controls that are there work really well. You can say Xbox Go to netflix and it will open netflix. Once in netflix you can control the video (stop, pause, rewind, play), same with the bluray player. It's worked very well for me. However, my children cannot get the voice features to work. Currently it doesn't seem like netflix or amazon support voice searches in the apps. I don't know if they ever will.

        Also you can hook your cable or satellite box up to it, but I haven't done that yet.

                    I hooked my Comcast box to the Xbox one and you can use your voice to adjust or mute the TV volume, change channels through the Xbox TV guide, change them one at a time, or say Xbox, watch AMC or Xbox watch hbo HD and it will change to those channels. However the Xbox doesn't seem to be able to control the DVR or any advanced menu functions on the Comcast box. The Comcast remote still works fine for those things though without any interference from the Xbox.

                      Bought both PS4 & Xbox One. Xbox One being delivered tomorrow from Amazon.

                            Also, PS4 Controller >>>>>> PS3 Controller.
                            XB1 Controller >> Xbox 360 Controller.
                            But: XB1 Controller > PS4 Controller > Xbox 360 Controller >>>>>> PS3 Controller.

                              Are any retailers not already sold out on xbox one's? Any word on when the next production will ship? I would have thought retailers and MSFT would be pushing for another million units for Black Friday and the holidays.
