Celestial Dawn's Mod v4.22
Also named the "Play CTP as it should be" Mod. Lots of lots of small but significant changes.
i. addressing gameplay imbalances; and
ii. extending the scope and depth of gameplay.
Changes from v3
i) a modified Trade system designed to encourage Trade;
ii) a revamp of Governments in order to allow for more interesting choices between them;
iii) the improvement of Science buildings to make the Science v Gold decision more valid;
iv) the primacy of Air Power to make the Modern Age more interesting; and
v) Great Library updates for all the changes and entries for all the new units and advances.
Without doubt a file you must try.
A great idea: this mod replaces the diplomatic photos of ctp with the ones in civ2! This is version 1.1 which fixes a bug. Download it if you have version 1
Changes the radar map colours so that only green (land), light and dark blue (shallow and deep water), and black (undiscovered) are used. The player's civilization is then given the colour off-white.
Mr Temba describes: "This mod enables the cattle unit to be built by anyone. It never goes obsolete. To work you place it on a city square and it gives you more food. Thats it. Kinda dissapointing I know, my next mod will be much better." Note: actually, that was what the cow(or cattle) unit was doing in the first place. For some reason, it was cut from the game.
Deutsches Mod v1.0
Palpatine has created this file
Actually the result of the effort of more than one people. Everything is in German, and we dont have an english description but it seems to contain Dom's TinySlics mod, the Catapult and Satelite sprites, and several new units and goverments. Check out the readme(in German of course)
Edited unit attributes for more realistic combat results

Adds the "Cybernetic Republic" goverment, and the "Barbarian" and "Somonaian" civilisations(without deleting any civs). Includes an edit to have more grassland in random maps
Forever Future 1.7
Forever Future is a complex mod for Civilization: Call to Power 1. The changes include additions and changes to the units, buildings, wonders and governments, as well as complete overhaul of the Advance tree. In general, the game is longer and richer, with more distinct eras (for example, we actually have Middle Ages now) and with an apropriately complex future. We also made new tactics possible, which means that there are much less no-brainers and more decision making. Finally, we changed some original content that we deemed to be too cheesy or out of place (for example, the Plasmatica description) and expanded the library a little.
However, one of our objectives was to preserve the general gameplay and core mechanics of the game, as well as the overall feeling of the grand-but-not-too-serious civilization-building game with a slightly leftwing-cynical perspective. Many aspects of the game were changed, but it's still the same Call to Power you know, just better.
Harlan's Graphic Mod 1.0
This mod combines and replaces Harlan's previous Leader and City mods. Harlan describes: "This modpack adds two city styles of Pyramid and Castle to the three existing land city styles of Roman, Arab and Asian. In addition, it adds a style for completely new age, the Industrial Age for all five city styles. So there are a total of 34 new graphics for cities. This modpack also adds twenty city names for each civ, replaces the leader pictures for all civs with actual famous leader pics, replaces 8 civs with new ones and adds three extra civs." See the full readme. You can get it two parts too(each 1MB): Part 1 and Part 2
