This is pretty much a world wide standard but I have no idea what it means. I can remember being in places as different as South Korea, Thailand, Iraq, Kosovo, The Netherlands, and Panama and all of them had local cigarette producers which had written in English "American blend Class A cigarette". I was really cheap and just bought a pack of Indian made cigarettes and it says the exact same thing. What the hell does that mean?

I have to agree the "rituals of smoking" are a huge part of the appeal along with being some where, going outside, and then talking with various other smokers who you would not other wise have met. I've met a lot of girls, abet smokers, just because we both went outside for a smoke. It is a very socialable habit in that lots of people go to the same place (outside) and then stand and talk together.
I grant you that it is bad for your health even if it is good for your social life.

In the Phils you can buy 3 packs of Marlboros or Winston and get change back from your dollar.
Thank God I quit ages ago, I'd be smoking 3 packs a day there.
