Hi all,
I've been having great fun with the SMAniaC Mod for a while, including 2 recent PBEM games.
Is there any interest in summarizing the thoughts and observations on the SMAniaC factions? Even the SMAC and SMAX factions have different stats and SE preferences/aversions, and they play somewhat differently than in SMAC/SMAX. I think between MasterBuilder and I we have played many of the factions. I could probably get MB to add to my list since he's played as many or more factions than I have.
I did a summary of the SMAniaC factions, SE, tech, etc in an Excel spreedsheet ~2006, which Maniac posted on his mod thread. I've found an error or two, so perhaps it is time to update it.
Another idea is identifying SMAniaC B-lines. With a Green and Planet play style now viable that is of interest, and the SPs and other abilities have been moved around so make more tech strategies more viable.
