When you way scenerio, does that mean it's a mod?  Or have you merely used an unusual map layout and/or a different number of civs than is normally found on such a map.

This is a fun map, it's limited to 500 turns though which I didn't appreciate at the outset, makes it more difficult on Marathon.

I did a rush myself, but with 4 Chariots instead of 2 Warriors. I also got a worker in addition to the second starting city. 
Post-rush after I could explore west of there it seemed rather cold west of there.
